I am told that the new version should be released in about two weeks.

Thank you Melodie.

Any idea of fixes and/or features that are different?

Thank you again,

Scott

The only thing I have heard for sure is a lot of work on text and dimensioning problems. I believe that there were changes in most reported problems but I have not been given a fix list yet.

If it addresses AEC issues and has a plotting system like Acad 2000 or DataCad9 I'll be more than happy to purchase it for myself.

Why the plotting system? One of the great reliefs of ICAD for me was to get away from the crappy ADI system (does ACAD still use it?). I have never had a pain-free printer with windows but at least you don't have to hunt down ADI drivers & wonder if they are the problem.
Not arguing, just asking.

So it's the middle of July and I don't see any information about a new version at the web site. Any word on when?

I am now told that it will be a couple more weeks. Am not sure what is causing the delay but do know that they want to make sure this is, by far, the most dependable version that has been released. I'm sure, from the sounds of things, that it will be worth the slight delay.

Ok I can't hold my breath any more!
How about a little update on the new version you moderators are working with.
