AutoCAD has a very handy command, COPYTOLAYER, that allows copying entities on one layer to another layer.
Is there a similar capability in IntelliCAD?

#2Do you have found a solution? Because I tell the same question today!dooleybob41 wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 3:38 pmAutoCAD has a very handy command, COPYTOLAYER, that allows copying entities on one layer to another layer.

My personal solution is:
- On the layer 1, I select the entities.
- I copy them.
- I move the entities to a layer X in the properties panel.
- then on the layer 1, I past the same entities on the same location.
but Autocad make the same with one function, sniff....

Re: COPY to LAYER
#3Hi,
Please refer to the lisp routine that allows copying entities to the current layer.
If you know AutoLISP, you can modify it as you like.

I made some change to copy speedly on the curent layer only:
Activate the layer you want to be the curent layer and select your objets you want duplicate on this layer.
