If you are used to using AutoCAD, you can type any AutoCAD command in at the command prompt. Most commands are available.

Try something like this:

I noticed that each time I do the hatch I need to re=select "solid" even though it is selected when I open the dialog box.
Otherwise it hatches with lines.

One way to do this is to use a gray shade.
Such as colors 250 to 254.

I had a similar problem in the past. To solve it I reduced the plotted line weight of the color used for the text.

We have had good results with the HP 500.
This is a new printer but has a lower cost.

You may want to check and see if IntelliCAD is finding the font file. It may be substituting another font in its place.

Go to Tools-> Drawing settings.
Select "angular units"
Select "Surveyors units"
The angle base should be "N90dE" (East)

Angle direction should be counter clockwise.

Your command should work OK now.

At the lower right of the screen look for a button that says: Model or: Paper

Double-click it and a dialog will appear allowing you to change the layout view.

You will need to regen the drawing when done to see the change.
