Just tried this with 6.1 PE. It only persists in the drawing that was open when it was performed. I did it to the icad.dwg default drawing and, if I load that drawing, it persists, but if I create a new drawing, it isn't there. Is it broken or am I missing some critical, undocumented step? Is it possible to determine the drawing entities a user has in a selected state prior to the execution of a VBA macro? I would prefer to have a VBA subroutine act upon preselected entities rather than prompt the user to select the entities to process within the VBA routine. It seems more intutitive ...

I guess I should have formed the question better. I know that I can specify a file extension to for the file save format to a certain degree, but via the user interface you can specify either DXF binary or DXF Ascii. Which does IntelliCAD write a DXF file out as via the VBA method?
