Paper space - Model Space

When I open a drawing in AutoCAD LT and it is on a layout tab, I am defaulted to paperspace. When I open the same drawing in ICAD, it puts me in model space. I start moving around and it messes up the drawing layout.

Is there way to default ICAD to paperspace when it opens on a layout tab?

Just saw the new demo version and downloaded it.

Both problems that gave me fits have been fixed.

In another topic, some one mentions that they have version 6.1.19.0... Does 6.1.19.0 fix problems that makes 6.0.12.1 not useable for me such the XCLIP DWG problems and the stuck snap? If there were a list of issues resolved, I could tell. Or if the demo version were updated I could tell. So what is...

The demo version is 6.0.12.1. This is the same as it was in June. Have there been any updates? There are still several bugs in this one that have been fixed in other flavors of Intellicad.

Are you using a white back ground? I prefer the light colored background. When I first set things up, I selcted a "shade of grey" white rather than a straight white (color 7) background. The white lines all disappeared when I drew them. Once I changes to white #7, the white lines appeared ...

Manuals gnerally are poor reading for learning how to use a program. And AutoCAD/Intellicad is not easy program to pick up as you go. TRy these links http://www.cadtutor.net/acad/index.html http://www2.ncsu.edu:8010/unity/lockers/project/graphicscourse/gc/acadtut/acadtut2000/acadtut-home.html http:/...

The BricsCAD 6 demo does not seem to have this issue. Maybe CMS does not have the latest update for version 6?

DWT is the template file that Intellicad uses to configure your new drawing. When you save the drawing is should default to DWG.

I copied the routine into a file and named it revcloud.lsp and made the file revcloud.dat with 0.5 in it. revcloud.dat is in the same folder as revcloud.lsp. I get the "can't find data file in search path..." error. Then it says "An error has occurred: bad argument type" I am new...

Are you using a white background? I have noticed a few files that seem to have an issue with this. There is also another post about this in the forum. Also, I would only use TurboCAD as a last resort. I have had trouble with files run through TUrboCAD. Of course they were trouble files to begin so...

I did not see it in write up but it appears you get updates as they become available.

Is there a support charge for this? Some other Intellicad site say you need to buy a support pacakge to get updates.

Aslo what is the toolbar problem?

I am not sure what ACIS is.

My drawing has only paper space with drawing border - model space with a bunch of tables imported from Excel and pasted in as AutoCAD entities.

I tried converting the file to 2000 and R14 format and exploding everything.
