found the problem ....

TRIM still drive me nuts..,
but now I recognized by reading another post, that the TRIM command only works well in the UCS WOrld coordinate system.
I checked this - and found that if I change to the UCS World, the TRIM command is doing what I expect.

best regards Karlheinz

First of all: thanks for your replies! Do you also use the latest Version? I am using the 6.2.36.1, Premium Edition. I also just verified the behavior as posted above without loaded any LISP routines, and I still have this strange behavior, that the "wrong" parts of the Polyline is trimmed.. Have an...

TRIM command drives me nuts

Sorry for repeating this topic, but the implementation of the trim command drives me nuts: It unfortunately depends on polylines on their direction. Just do the following: 1) draw one horizontal polyline, just with two points from left to right. 2) draw another polyline from top to bottom in this wa...

Thanks for your answer, John. I still have admin rights on my computer, but it wont work - anyway, I have upgraded now my 6.1PE to 6.2PE and I was able to install the 6.2PE. Unfortunately, the trim command still works "strange", it cuts, depending on the direction of the polyline, the wrong part of ...

trim command sometimes "cut" the wrong side

I have now upgraded from 6.19 to 6.20 PE. I still found, that the trim command sometimes cut off the wrong section of a polyline. I saw this behavior also in the previous version. I also recognize, that the script command works not well. If I try to run a small script do draw a polyline given by ext...

Demo 6.2 will not install

I like to try the demo 6.2 to see if a few bugs are remove (for example, a few line styles will not be printed correct to a PDF). Unfortunately the demo could not be installed on my WinXp machine with 1GB main memory. (access violation at address 7c93ae22 in module 'ntdll.dll') …... Any Ideas? Thank...

Hello Cad_B, hello John: Thanks for feedback - yes, it was the missing z value, yes, CAD_B, you are right, there is a redundant calculation - with either expanding the return list with the z value or simply staying at the polar calculation, it works fine! John, your simple half is nearly equal to my...

maybe small LISP interpretation bug ??

Hello, I found IntelliCAD an excellent solution for reusing my very very old collection of LISP routines. Now I found, that a very simple one didn't work correct: I called it (mee), simply a shortcut for middle between two endpoints). The plan was, that you can type at every coordiante input just (m...
