again w/ the layer thing...

someone, somewhere, must be an architectural draftsperson and require the equivalent of a layer management command (lman)...is it built into the layer dialog box and I am too simple to find it? How else can I flip between floor plans, framing, foundation, etc. w/o manually selecting 4 dozen layers e...

thanks to both of you...it still seems odd that something this obvious would be left out of a cad program. Why Autocad took the layer manager out and only includes it in bonus tools is beyond me as well.

thanks Alan...I work pretty loosely with regards to layers so it seems like this is going to be a problem for me. I'll just have to dig deep and but Autocad I suppose.

I have been checking out the demo and have one issue to resolve before I purchase. I am used to using the "layman" command (now included in the bonus tools) within Autocad 2002 to restore a particular setting of layers being on/off, locked/unlocked, etc...I use this in model space to flip ...
