Can anyone point me to a good tutorial for drawing threads? In particular I'm looking to draw a gear rack and could use a tutorial.

I realize this thread is older than dirt but hey why not... There is no standard in the industry for upgrade policies although in the past when I've worked with/for software vendors I've found it a lot easier to swallow things if you get free upgrades for a certain period.
